'TANKIES' 1939-45

We take a keen interest in all aspects of the Second World War, including those who fought and maintained the iconic armoured vehicles of that conflict. From the sands of El Alamein to the shores of Normandy, the tank played a particularly important and innovative role in WWII. Working on the BBC's 'Tank Heroes of WWII' we had a unique opportunity to put our research to work, depicting soldiers of the Royal Tank Regiment throughout the war.
